The key duties of the position include The DTA's People and Culture team is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and vibrant individual who will contribute to a range of Human Resource (HR) functions. They will support the delivery and implementation of key HR operational activities and projects to drive a positive culture in the DTA. This role primarily focuses on supporting and delivering accurate HR advice to DTA employees, on matters relating to pay, conditions and employee entitlements. You will use your strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment. Please note: This role may require interstate travel from time to time. Key duties: Triage and monitor the agency's shared HR inbox. Provide timely and accurate support and advice to internal and external stakeholders on a variety of HR matters, including but not limited to pay, conditions and entitlements. Assist with fortnightly payroll reconciliation and work with the Service Delivery Office in processing enquiries related to pay, conditions and entitlements. Interpret and apply relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and workplace policies. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR Systems, including maintaining data in the SAP environment and HR records in line with agency records management protocols. Assist with collating data to support corporate audits and whole of government surveys/ reporting requests, as required. Assist the broader People and Culture team as and when required to deliver strategic priorities.
