ABOUT THE ROLE This temporary HR Coordinator role will support the People Operations team during a busy period, providing hands-on assistance across core HR activities. The role is broad and operational, offering exposure to day to day People processes while ensuring employees and managers receive timely, effective support. This role will suit someone confident operating at a coordinator level, comfortable managing volume, and able to work autonomously while knowing when to escalate more complex matters. DUTIES Managing and responding to a shared People Operations inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses Preparing, populating, and issuing employment contracts Providing general HR support across employment contracts, leave, and policy-related queries Supporting HRIS administration, including employee data updates, leave queries, and basic reporting Coordinating onboarding logistics for new starters, liaising with IT and internal teams as required Liaising with offshore People Operations teams to support contract administration and workflow Providing general People Operations administration and ad hoc support as required SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR coordination, People Operations, or HR administration Solid understanding of basic Australian employment law, particularly employment contracts Experience using a HRIS system (Employment Hero advantageous) Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
