Using advanced radiography equipment and contemporary imaging techniques, you will play a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care, ensuring examinations are performed safely, efficiently and in line with professional and clinical standards. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide professional guidance and support to other radiographers, newly graduated staff and students on clinical placement or work experience. Through mentoring, supervision and knowledge sharing, you will contribute to building capability within the team while supporting a collaborative and patient-focused imaging service that values continuous learning and excellence. About You You are an experienced and adaptable diagnostic radiographer who brings strong technical expertise, sound clinical judgement and a commitment to safe, patient-centred imaging practice. You work confidently with minimal supervision, contribute positively to multidisciplinary teams and support the development of others through teaching and clinical guidance. Your professionalism, flexibility and focus on quality ensure high standards across all imaging activities. Key Requirements Professional qualifications & registration Degree in Medical Radiation with current registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, and licensed or eligible to operate radiation apparatus under the Radiation Protection and Control Act SA 2021. Clinical capability & technical proficiency Demonstrated experience performing a broad range of complex general radiography procedures, assessing patient condition, selecting appropriate techniques, and reviewing image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy. Safety, quality & regulatory knowledge Strong understanding of radiation safety, ionising radiation protection, safe work practices, quality improvement programs, medico-legal responsibilities, and relevant legislation including RIS, PACS and regulatory requirements. Communication, teamwork & education Proven ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, adapt to change, build positive relationships, and teach and clinically supervise staff and students with professionalism and cultural awareness.
