Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Plastic Fabricator to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication of custom plastic components using a variety of materials and techniques. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects across industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors, contributing to high-quality outcomes in a supportive and safety-focused environment. Fabricating a product with various plastics including HDPE, Polypropylene and PVC. This role is a factory based position with occasional site maintenance and installation. Key Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate plastic components. Operate machinery including CNC Machining, panel saws, routers, welders, and hand tools. Perform plastic welding and assembly using various techniques (e.g., extrusion welding, poly welding, butt welding). Measure, cut, and shape plastic materials to precise dimensions. Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Assist with installation or site work as required. Skills & Experience Thermoplastic hot gas & extrusion/plastic welding experience and / or HDPE butt and socket welding experience would be advantageous. Proven experience in plastic fabrication or similar trade such as sheet metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Competency in using fabrication tools and machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials. Desirable but not essential: Extrusion weld experience Boilermaker/metal welder skills can be transferable. Knowledge of different plastic types and their applications Forklift license Personal Attributes Good attitude and willingness to learn and teach.
