You’ll be at the forefront of how Bunnings tells its story—driving earned media, consumer-facing activity, and brand storytelling across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Senior PR Manager, you’ll work closely with a passionate Media & PR team to support key programs and business priorities. What’s involved: Leading proactive media campaigns that support key business priorities, events, and launches. Identifying and shaping opportunities to promote the Bunnings brand in authentic, engaging ways. Crafting clear, compelling content—media releases, briefing notes, speeches, and more. Building strong media relationships and managing agency partners Collaborating across teams—from influencers to community events—to deliver integrated campaigns Tracking and sharing results to show the value of PR across the business Who we’re looking for: Our ideal candidate will bring an energetic attitude with a willingness to offer new ideas and creativity to the way Bunnings tells its story. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to bring people together to make things happen. You are naturally curious, love collaborating across teams, and always look for smarter ways to work. You’re a confident communicator with a natural flair for storytelling and have a calm, considered approach under pressure. You’ll need: Demonstrated experience in PR, media, or communications - agency or in-house Strong media management skills and a solid network of contacts Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Experience delivering consumer-facing campaigns with measurable results Confidence managing multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines A good grasp of media trends and content consumption habits Familiarity with tools including media monitoring platforms, social media tracking and Microsoft 365 may be helpful Please note that due to the time of year, applications may not be reviewed or actioned until after the 7th of January 2026.
