The Opportunity As Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil projects, working closely with the Project Manager and site-based teams to ensure outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements. You will be involved across technical delivery, procurement, coordination, and stakeholder management while contributing to a positive and collaborative site culture. The Role In this role, you will: Deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations and internal systems Implement and manage project plans including programming, procurement, and contract administration Coordinate technical delivery and resolve site-based engineering issues Lead and support site engineers and technical team members Prepare and manage procurement documentation and schedules Assist the Project Manager to achieve project milestones and program targets Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements on site Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders About You To succeed, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent Minimum four years experience delivering civil construction projects in Australia Strong technical capability across civil infrastructure works Experience leading or mentoring engineers and graduates on site Excellent written and verbal communication skills A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery Commitment to safety and quality standards The Benefits Permanent North Queensland-based role Diverse civil project portfolio Strong leadership support and structured delivery systems Competitive salary package up to $150k super, including vehicle Long-term stability with a well-established contractor Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
