IEPro are working with a respected civil contractor to hire a Project Engineer for projects across North Queensland. This company is well established in the delivery of roadworks, earthworks, utilities, and civil infrastructure projects throughout regional Queensland. The Opportunity As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure works, ensuring that safety, quality, and program objectives are met. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, managing technical detail, and contributing directly to the success of complex civil projects across the region. The Role In this role, you will: Assist in managing project delivery from planning to completion Review designs, specifications, and scope documentation Prepare cost forecasts, progress claims, and project reports Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams Monitor and maintain safety, quality, and environmental compliance Support the development of project schedules and methodologies Collaborate with Project Managers to achieve key milestones About You To succeed, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent 3 to 6 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure delivery Proven understanding of roadworks, bulk earthworks, and utilities Strong technical and commercial skills, with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills A proactive and safety-focused approach to project delivery Ability to work effectively in regional project environments The Benefits Permanent position based in North Queensland Salary up to $160k super Work with an established and respected civil contractor Long-term regional project pipeline providing career stability Supportive and inclusive work culture focused on collaboration and development Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
