What you’ll do: WSP Australia’s Mine Advisory team is looking for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to contribute to a broad range of projects for mining clients across Australia and internationally. You’ll work alongside industry-leading experts, support major decisions for mine owners and investors, and help deliver high-quality technical and strategic outcomes. Deliver mining engineering inputs across studies, technical reviews, optimisation and advisory engagements. Support mine design, scheduling, cost modelling, and scenario analysis. Work closely with clients to understand their challenges and provide clear, data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across WSP to deliver integrated project outcomes. Contribute to the preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. About You Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 6 years’ experience in a mining engineering role, ideally with time in consulting. Strong technical background in mine planning and design (open cut and/or underground). Excellent communication skills, strong report writing skills and solid analytical and problem-solving ability. Solid understanding of the Australian mining landscape and regulatory framework. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Why WSP?
