Tap House at The Rocks is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Our venue is known for quality pub-style dining, craft beer, and a lively atmosphere. We are looking for someone who can deliver consistency, creativity, and high standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across all sections of the kitchen Ensure food is produced consistently and meets venue quality standards Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the kitchen Assist with menu development, daily specials, and new dish ideas Manage stock levels, conduct stock rotation, and assist with ordering and inventory control Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition Supervise and support junior kitchen staff during service Monitor portion control and minimise food waste Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth services Comply with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) and food handling regulations About You Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification Proven experience as a Chef in a busy pub, hotel, or restaurant environment Strong organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passionate about food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings Why Join Tap House at The Rocks?
