The Employee Restaurant Chef is responsible for planning and preparing a variety of balanced menus, ensuring meals are of consistent quality, hygienic, and timely. This role plays an important part in creating a positive workplace environment by delivering meals that help colleagues stay energised and focused, while upholding Park Hyatt Sydney's standards of excellence. The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following, but not limited to: Responsible for the lunch and dinner for employees for employee restaurant Ensures that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard Responsible for checking all incoming food items, making sure they are stored in the correct manner as per hygiene regulations To ensure that all mise-en-place for the assigned section is maintained at an appropriate level To ensure that all food safety and hygiene practices are in place Qualifications: Sufficient work experience as Demi Chef/Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant with good standards Desired Completion of Chef Apprenticeship or Certificate in Commercial Cookery Good Hygiene Knowledge Safe and accurate knife skills Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods This is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
