We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of GPs, OTs, Physiotherapists, and Speech Pathologists based in Nhulunbuy (Gove Peninsula). In this role, you’ll travel by road or small plane to provide occupational therapy services to some of Australia’s most remote and culturally rich Indigenous communities across Arnhem Land. Each therapist works as part of a dedicated team that regularly visits remote communities, supporting individuals to achieve meaningful, functional outcomes and improved quality of life. Why Join Us? Our ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 2 years post-graduate OT experience (not suitable for new graduates) Have experience in a similar/community-based role, including NDIS service delivery, report writing, and funding justification Be confident working with complex disabilities (e.g., neurological, ASD, ABI, intellectual disability) Have experience in remote, rural, or outreach settings Have experience with Assistive Technology and/or Functional Capacity Assessments Have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, or a strong willingness to learn Be flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused Have strong communication and teamwork skills Demonstrate a respectful, culturally responsive approach Possess strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and the ability to work independently with remote support Hold current AHPRA registration If you are interested in this opportunity, apply now or give Rell Werner a call on 08 8422 3401 to find out more.
