We are seeking a full time, Quality and Improvement Advisor to provide team coverage for a fixed term period, contributing to key improvement projects within CHL’s Quality and Improvement Framework. About the Role As the Quality and Improvement Advisor, you will play a key role in strengthening organisational performance and service delivery by supporting the implementation and ongoing maturity of CHL’s Quality and Improvement Framework. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead quality and process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes. You will facilitate workshops, contribute to continuous improvement projects, support compliance activities, and help embed best-practice quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015. This is a hands-on, influential role suited to someone who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders, balancing analytical thinking with practical implementation, and contributing to meaningful outcomes aligned with CHL’s vision of a world without housing poverty. Key Responsibilities: Partner with business units to analyse processes, capture requirements, and identify improvement opportunities Facilitate workshops to identify root causes, problem-solve and co-design solutions Lead and support quality and process improvement projects across the organisation Support the implementation, monitoring and review of the Quality and Improvement Framework Provide training and guidance to promote organisation-wide understanding and adherence Support quality management activities related to complaints, feedback and appeals Research legislation, housing regulations, ISO standards and best practice to identify gaps and recommend improvements Administer document and process updates within SharePoint and the Document Management System Ensure all activities align with CHL’s strategic direction, values and WHS requirements About You You are a proactive and collaborative quality professional who brings a strong improvement mindset and a genuine commitment to social impact. You are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, can translate complex requirements into practical improvements, and thrive in environments focused on continuous improvement. You Will Have 3–5 years’ experience in a quality, improvement, compliance or advisory role, and/or a relevant degree Experience in quality frameworks, process improvement, policy and document management Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015 Strong project coordination and delivery skills High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio Well-developed facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills An understanding of, or strong interest in, the community and/or public housing sector Alignment with CHL’s values and commitment to safe, stable and suitable housing for all Most importantly, you are committed to improving organisational practice and enhancing outcomes for people accessing housing and support services.
