We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to following: Engineering Design & Analysis Review architectural, geotechnical, survey, water/sewer, and building service drawings to gather required structural design information. Conduct analysis and design of RC structural elements for residential and commercial buildings in accordance with Australian Standards (AS3600, AS1170, AS2159, AS4678, AS5100). Designing and analysing shoring, structural systems, including piles, temporary anchors, shotcrete walls, and capping beams using Wallap, Inducta, RAPT, Tekla Tedds, and RamConcept, ETABS. Analysing the static and dynamic properties of structures to ensure stability, strength, and safety under applied loads. Assessing soil and rock behaviour under pressure and designing appropriate structural foundations Perform load calculations for dead, live, wind, and earthquake loads. Prepare analytical models for PT slabs. Contribute product design reviews and preliminary structural concepts. Collaborate with architects and clients to finalise design approaches. Conducting site inspections and supervising structural works during construction Documentation & Reporting Prepare structural drawings, calculations, design sketches, inspection reports, and SEA reports/checklists for authorities (e.g., Sydney Water). Review team members’ work as part of QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality. Project Support & Coordination Support senior engineers and technical staff in project delivery, including reviewing and assigning technical work. Organise and attend design coordination meetings with architects, MEP consultants, civil/stormwater engineers, and geotechnical engineers. Respond to site/design requests and provide practical engineering solutions. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to obtain project information and address feedback. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all engineering work meets quality, safety, regulatory, and statutory standards. Contribute to internal QA/QC processes and support senior engineers in maintaining structural adequacy and compliance. Ability to apply engineering principles, techniques, and methods to a range of structural engineering tasks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under supervision while progressively taking on more responsibility. Willingness to participate in ongoing training, both internal and external, as directed by Management. Commitment to maintaining the required Workcover OH&S training for construction work.
