The School of Medical, Indigenous & Health Sciences offers courses in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical and Health Sciences and Health Sciences (Indigenous Studies). The Anatomy Laboratory is licensed within NSW for the provision of Anatomical Examination under the Anatomy Act 1977, and along with the physiology laboratories, provides state of the art learning opportunities for students within the School of Medicine. The Laboratory comprises a small team of uniquely skilled staff. About the role Make a meaningful impact in medical education by coordinating the Body Donation Program (BDP). In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience for donors and their families. You’ll liaise with prospective donors, families, funeral directors, crematorium staff, and work closely with the Anatomy Laboratory technical team to ensure smooth processes. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to support School and Faculty initiatives, contributing your skills to broader projects that make a difference. What you will bring You will have a degree in a relevant field such as Communications or Medical Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, including in sensitive situations, are essential. You’ll be confident applying policy and legislation to daily operations and experienced in using software to manage data for operations and planning. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a small team are also required.
