The Role As Safety & Quality Coordinator (HSEQ) , you’ll work closely with the leadership team, supervisors, and site technicians , coordinating and continuously improving safety, quality, and environmental systems across the business. The role has been deliberately designed to suit a range of experience levels : A step up for an early-to-mid career HSEQ professional Or a hands-on, influential position for a more experienced practitioner who prefers to stay close to operations This is not a purely administrative role. You’ll be visible in the business, involved in decision-making, and trusted to help shape how safety and quality are delivered on site. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating WHS / HSEQ compliance , including safety, quality, and environmental requirements Maintaining and improving the ISO-certified Integrated Management System, and IRATA (Rope Access) Accreditation. Supporting risk assessments, SWMS, procedures, and operational documentation Delivering practical safety and quality training , toolbox talks, and site support Managing incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions Monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance and continuous improvement initiatives Preparing for and supporting ISO and IRATA audits Working collaboratively with site teams to ensure systems are practical and effective About You You are already working in a Safety, WHS, or HSEQ role , ideally within: Heavy industrial maintenance Construction or shutdown environments Manufacturing, mining, or engineering-led operations You may bring: 3–5 years’ experience in a safety / HSEQ role and be ready to step up Or more extensive HSEQ experience and be seeking a strong, well-run business Your background likely includes: A trade or engineering foundation (mechanical, electrical, or similar) Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and site application Experience working with ISO-based management systems The ability to communicate effectively with both trades and leadership Qualifications & experience may include: Cert IV or tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety (completed or in progress) Exposure to confined space, working at heights, rope access, or IRATA environments (advantageous but not essential) What's in it for you?
