Project Lead Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO ex. Perth or Local to Hedland Employment Type: Permanent, full-time. ASAP start. Duties & responsibilities Reporting to the Track Lead, the Project Lead is responsible for leading project teams and delivering projects across the North-West region. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. Project Planning and Execution Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with the team to define objectives, deliverables, and key milestones. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment. Allocate resources effectively and work with HR to ensure the right mix of skills within the team. Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement corrective actions as needed. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns. Ensure clear and effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and HR regarding staff enquiries. Risk Management Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Develop contingency plans and oversee quality control to meet or exceed standards. Implement corrective actions for quality issues and deviations from project specifications. Other Conduct work with integrity, in alignment with Cat5’s values and business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Undertake travel (site, interstate, international), participate in appraisals, and lead safety engagement and reporting. Skills & experience Valid Australian Drivers Licence Construction Induction (White or Blue Card) Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field Proven extensive experience in project management with a track record of successful project delivery (highly desirable) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies and tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Interpersonal and problem-solving skills Benefits Highly sought-after 8/6 FIFO roster.
