THE PRACTICE -Newly fitted-out GP practice in a busy shopping centre -Working hours are based on 8 am - 4.30 pm week days, this is very flexible -Patient & staff parking is available -Choose your appointment times, you have full clinical independence THE OPPORTUNITY -You'll be supported with full nursing coverage -Allied Health support is available -Occupational Health, Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women's health, and chronic disease management GP sub-specialties are in demand -You will earn $150/ hour, or 65-70% of billings, whichever is higher -Likely earnings $250,000-$490,000 before tax each year -Strong Filipino community in this town DUTIES -Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures -Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health -Prescribe and administer medications and treatments -Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases -Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention -Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues LOCATION -DPA/MM6, Port Hedland, is a busy coastal mining town 25000, with a significant shortage of General Practitioners -Moratorium reduced to 4 years only -Visa sponsors, will support permanent residency.
