Reporting to the Project/Operations Manager as the Senior Mining Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of underground mining projects for Westfill Pty Ltd. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to Providing technical, operational, and commercial support to enable site performance Managing client relationships and lead operational teams ensuring project deliverables are achieved Extensive experience in underground mining production, development, planning and scheduling activities Excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt between engineering and project management responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or equivalent First Class Mine Managers Certificate is desirable Valid Western Australia C Class Manual Drivers Licence Dangerous Goods Security Card Be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include drug and alcohol screening. National Police Clearance valid within the last 6 months. Key Responsibilities: Promote and reinforce a proactive safety-first culture across all project activities. Ensure compliance with Company, legislative, and site-specific safety requirements. Provide direction and technical support to site supervisors, foremen, and operators Act as Relief Project Manager when required, providing leadership, decision-making, and operational oversight. Support a high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Coordinate with mine planning and technical services to ensure alignment of designs and production requirements Assist in preparation of budgets, cost forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure accurate recording of costs, labour hours, and production data. Contribute to procurement, subcontractor engagement, and contract administration. Support preparation of project reports, cost reviews, and claims submissions. Monitor equipment and personnel utilisation to optimise productivity.
