Nurseline, Tasmania's only locally owned and operated nursing agency, have a full-time permanent position now available with the Tasmanian Health Service for an experienced Clinical Coordinator - Paediatrics at the Launceston General Hospital. Role Responsibilities In conjunction with the Inter-professional Team the Clinical Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day patient care activities of the Ward/Unit, including identifying and implementing processes for admission, transfers, and discharge of Ward/Unit patients. You will bring: Paediatric Clinical Expertise: Sound understanding of child development, paediatric conditions, and age-appropriate nursing care. Compassion and Empathy: Ability to engage with children and families in a supportive and respectful manner. Critical Thinking: Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills in dynamic settings. Communication Skills : Clear, age-appropriate communication and effective collaboration with families and colleagues. Resilience and Adaptability: Capacity to manage emotional demands and adjust to changing clinical priorities. Teamwork: Collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care. Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diverse cultural backgrounds, values, and family structures. Essential criteria: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements) A relevant postgraduate qualification will be highly desirable.
