Description DP World Brisbane is currently seeking a Vehicle Booking System Coordinator based at our Fisherman's Island Container Port Terminal. This role is a rostered shift working role with 4 shifts on (2 days, 2 nights) and then 4 shifts off and provides 24 hour, 7 day per week assistance to the Transport operators who service our Brisbane Container Terminal with road based container transfer services. The role requires full Australian Citizenship, MSIC and Australian Government Security clearances. The successful candidate should have extensive experience coordinating logistics container truck movements and be familiar with the proprietary 1-Stop system used in Ports, Import/Export and Container park operations. Candidates must have excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, be self disciplined and self motivated to achieve excellent standards of Customer Care. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to plan and manage workloads, work autonomously but also be able to support our Production Teams from time to time to ensure our targets are met. Key Accountabilities Demonstrate leadership by ensuring frontline operations management effectively manages and delivers safety system through strong safety oversight and delegation skills Provide frontline customer service for all VBS, AQIS, and ACS enquiries, while maintaining strong client relationships and serving as a VBS rules and software expert Manage VBS slot allocation, coordinate and optimize X-ray logistics to meet KPI targets, handle no-shows and zone errors, and recommend adjustments as needed Forecast and report on daily and monthly R&D performance, contribute to ad hoc projects, and support the preparation of Operation reports Qualifications, Skills and Experience Extensive experience coordinating logistics container truck movements and be familiar with the proprietary 1-Stop system for this purpose. Must have excellent Microsoft Office suite skills Be self disciplined and self motivated to achieve excellent standards of Customer Care. The role has some interactions with our partners in Border Force, Customs and Bio-security and due to this, the successful candidate requires Maritime Security Clearances, and additional Australian Government Security Clearances which can only be provided to candidates who hold full Australian Citizenship.
