Introduction Your Impact: As a full time Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role: Performing day to day administrative duties relating to volunteers and volunteer activities Managing volunteer records for applications, onboarding, vacancies and other pertinent information. Supervising and ensuring the safety of groups up to 20 people during Corporate Volunteering activities. Collaborating with other members of Good Sammy Enterprises, including the Retail Store Managers, Resource Recovery Team & Warehouse Managers. Contributing to program development; exercising initiative, problem solving and effective communication. Description What you'll do: Volunteer Administration & Coordination Respond to inquiries about all types of volunteering with Good Sammy Enterprises Maintain communication with prospective volunteers during their onboarding Organise, compile, and maintain volunteer personnel records and documentation Maintain databases relating to mandatory screenings, training, induction and corporate engagement Assist the Volunteer Program Lead with volunteer recruitment Contribute to reporting requirements from collated volunteer data. Group Engagement & Site Tours Coordinate and deliver site tours with a mission-focused purpose, working closely with the Volunteer Program Lead and Resource Recovery Team Oversee group volunteer activities, ensuring safety and productivity, particularly within the warehouse environment. Support the preparation and occasional delivery of presentations related to volunteer engagement. Skills And Experiences What you'll bring: Some previous working experience in an administration focused role. Genuine interest in inclusivity and sustainability. Ability to effectively use computer software and a capacity to acquire skills in new systems. Excellent coordination and time-management skills. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive customer (internal and external) relations. Able to work adaptively within a team, and independently plan and execute work to meet deadlines. Able to remain flexible, calm under pressure, and responsive to changes in group dynamics or logistics. Comfortable working with an array of people and resolving issues in a dynamic environment.
