Working as part of a Nova consulting team, you will provide governance, scheduling and financial coordination support to enable effective oversight, reporting and informed decision-making. This role goes beyond traditional project support, requiring strong judgement, an understanding of project governance frameworks, and the ability to manage and integrate schedule, financial and performance information in a regulated Defence environment. An active AGSVA NV1 security clearance is required. What you will be involved with As a Nova consultant, you will provide project governance and PMO support services to Defence, which may include: Coordinating PMO financial governance activities, including review and collation of finance alignment and accrual data and preparation of inputs to CAF20 Trading Board and DMFP Supporting the standardisation, analysis and presentation of financial data to enable monthly invoice validation by Block Managers Managing Phase 5 OPP schedules and supporting routine governance reporting, including PPRIP/MRM, bi-annual Acquisition Performance Reviews and monthly reporting using a minimum viable process approach Supporting contract management activities in accordance with the DOR, including CDRL reviews, contract administration and maintenance of contract records Supporting Development Program Management Review reporting, including system health indicators and performance tracking against forecast hours and skill set plans Supporting invoice validation and financial assurance activities Providing limited and periodic OPP support, including guidance and knowledge transfer to other project teams as required What we would like from you You will be an experienced project professional with a strong grounding in project governance, scheduling and PMO practices, and the confidence to operate in a complex, regulated environment. Ideally, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in project governance, PMO or project controls roles Strong experience in project scheduling and lifecycle reporting, ideally within Defence or government programs An understanding of financial governance, accruals, invoicing and performance tracking within project environments Experience supporting contract management and CDRL-related activities The ability to analyse, integrate and present schedule, financial and performance data for senior stakeholders A structured, detail-oriented approach, with sound judgement and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy Experience in Defence capability development or acquisition environments will be highly regarded You must be an Australian citizen and already hold, or be eligible to hold, an AGSVA NV1 security clearance.
