You’ll work closely with Centre Leadership Teams and educators to: Support families through enrolment, orientation, and settling-in processes Guide and support families navigating complex or emerging behavioural concerns Coach and mentor educators to strengthen inclusive practice and confidence through modelling, reflection, and debriefing Support children engaging in complex behaviours by identifying underlying needs and contributing to individualised support strategies Lead and participate in compassionate, respectful, and sometimes challenging conversations with families Connect families with relevant community supports and assist with navigating government funding pathways Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for children’s wellbeing and development This role is part-time (25 hours per week across five days), with the opportunity to increase up to 37.5 hours per week for the right candidate, depending on the needs of the service. What We’re Looking For This role will suit someone who is calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and confident in supporting both families and educators through complex situations. You will bring: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher Strong experience in early years inclusion (highly regarded) Demonstrated ability to coach and support educators, rather than completing tasks for them Proven experience supporting children with complex behaviours, including identifying underlying causes while remaining regulated Confidence and compassion in having difficult conversations with families, validating emotions and offering strengths-based, respectful recommendations Strong knowledge of early childhood development, behaviour guidance strategies, and inclusive practice Understanding of community resources and government funding processes Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the National Quality Framework (NQF) Mandatory Requirements Current Working with Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates Mandatory Reporting training Our Values At Aspire, our values guide everything we do: Inspiring & Nurturing – creating environments where children and educators can thrive Building Trust – fostering open, respectful, and transparent relationships Empowering Excellence – investing in our people and encouraging continuous growth Connecting Communities – strengthening partnerships that support children and families Our Commitment Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment for all children.
