This position has an active role with the community to maintain and enhance the health and safety for people in the Blue Mountains through the enforcement of legislation, codes and policies, the development and promotion of community awareness of swimming pool and public health safety including food premises and skin penetration operators. It is a customer service focused role that will provide and obtain information seeking compliance with standards and applicable codes. Decisions are made in accordance with Council policy and procedures to ensure a consistent decision making across a variety of activities that involve public health. This is a term contract position with the possibility of permanency in the future.
