Your new role: As the Principal Consultant, Employment Relations, you will provide high-level, expert employment relations advice and leadership across Metro South Hospital and Health Service, supporting management and shaping workforce policy in a complex public health environment. You will: Lead the development, review and governance of HR and employment relations policies and procedures Provide authoritative advice on industrial relations matters, awards, legislation and workforce issues Manage and deliver complex projects, including enterprise bargaining and whole-of-government initiatives Advocate for Metro South Health in tribunals and commissions, and engage directly with unions and stakeholders About you: You are a senior employment relations professional who brings credibility, judgement and influence, and thrives in complex, high-stakes environments. About Employment Relations The Employment Relations unit is responsible for managing the strategic industrial relations agenda across Metro South Health. This includes responsibility for managing industrial disputes and appeals. The Director, Employment Relations provides strategic and expert practical industrial relations advice and support to the Chief Executive and Executive Directors within Metro South Health. The unit provides and manages advocacy on behalf of Metro South Health in industrial relations cases, appeals and anti-discrimination matters.
