About the Role ALS Tribology are welcoming two Laboratory Technicians for our fantastic Wetherill Park laboratory. While you’ll need some formal qualifications like a relevant TAFE Certificate or Diploma in laboratory skills, we’re willing to train you in everything else if you bring your willingness to learn. You’ll be rewarded with development opportunities, and all the support you need to be successful in a career in Tribology. Extensive training on our instrumentation and procedures will be provided. On a typical day you’ll be: Performing chemical and physical testing of oil, fuel and coolant samples Entering, updating and maintaining sample and test data Undertaking activities and responsibilities as instructed by the Laboratory Manager About You: Some previous experience in a commercial laboratory or demonstrated experience in a production-based industry would be highly regarded A positive work attitude and a great team player Confident communication skills Strong organisational and time-management skills and able to quickly reorganise priorities Diligence in dealing with data and details and intermediate MS Office skills This is a Full-Time role Monday to Friday.
