Job Description Position Title: APS3 Service Support Officer Employment Type: Approx. 12-month contract with potential to extend Location: Brisbane, QLD Hourly Pay Rate: $47.00 – $50.49 per hour 12% superannuation Security Clearance / Requirements: Ability to obtain Baseline security clearance Working Arrangements: Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible working arrangements may be available) ABOUT THE ROLE An exciting opportunity is available for an APS3 Service Support Officer to join a well-established Federal Government service delivery environment supporting veterans and their families. This role provides frontline customer service and administrative support within a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health and wellbeing services. You will be the first point of contact for clients accessing services and play a key role in ensuring smooth and effective service delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and stakeholders, both in person and via phone, email and SMS Resolve client enquiries in line with policies and procedures and refer matters to appropriate service delivery teams Provide frontline administrative support for in-centre appointments, including appointment scheduling and management through client management systems Deliver administrative support across service delivery streams including data entry, record keeping and workflow management Coordinate and support regional events such as group programs, internal meetings and community-based activities Prepare and manage internal and external correspondence related to referrals, appointments and service satisfaction Provide administrative support to external referral platforms, contracted providers and stakeholders Support daily regional operations including correspondence, travel arrangements, invoice processing, resource requests and property or maintenance matters Assist with quality assurance and operational reporting as required Uphold workplace practices in line with WHS, diversity, APS Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrated experience providing administrative and operational support within a government, health or service delivery environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience using client management systems and maintaining accurate records ELIGIBILITY Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration OR Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check Must complete a 'Statement of Claims' against the APS Work Level Standards HOW TO APPLY Apply now or contact Angel Malkovich on 02 6260 8888 for a confidential discussion.
