Job Description Sessional, Full Time A Trainer and Assessor in VET (Vocational Education and Training) courses is responsible for planning and preparing course materials, conducting practical and theoretical assessments, providing feedback to students, and maintaining accurate records. The Trainer and Assessor also support students' learning, facilitate a positive learning environment, and ensure that the training aligns with the requirements of the course. Provide engaging and effective instruction based on curriculum requirements and ensure high standards of teaching. Record student attendance and progress accurately, following College policies and procedures. Monitor classroom learning outcomes, provide feedback, and support students’ educational development. Stay current with industry standards and maintain up-to-date qualifications, actively participating in professional development opportunities. Adhere to the Code of Conduct, report incidents, manage OH&S matters, and contribute to meetings and other relevant activities.
