POP BLOCKS PTY LTD (Trading as Blok Modular) are currently seeking skilled and experienced full-time Carpenters and Joiners to join our busy team. To be successful for this opportunity, ideally you will be reliable and hardworking and hold the following: Qualifications & Work Experience Cert III Trade qualification (preferred, but not mandatory) and/or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. You will also require the following; Construction White Card Physical fitness; be able to pass a work medical A commitment to HSE Ability to pass random drug and alcohol tests 2 x contactable referees Responsibilities & Duties of the role will include: Construction, erection, installation, renovation and repair to structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials. Studying drawings and specifications to determine the materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Ordering and selecting timbers and materials. Cutting, shaping, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts. Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install. This role is classified under the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020 (MA000010) and remains factory-based for the purpose of award compliance.
