Sunshine Coast Health is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist - Cancer Care to join the Pharmacy Department at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This role delivers high-level clinical pharmacy services across inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory cancer care settings, supporting Haematology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology services. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will ensure the safe, effective and judicious use of medicines across the continuum of care while exercising advanced clinical judgement for complex oncology patients. The position contributes to service improvement, education and quality initiatives, supporting best practice medication management in line with regulatory requirements and Sunshine Coast Health values. Key Responsibilities include: Deliver high-level clinical pharmacy services to cancer care patients, ensuring safe, effective and evidence-based use of medicines. Provide expert medication advice and support to medical, nursing and allied health staff within a multidisciplinary cancer care team. Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and medication safety initiatives across cancer care services. Support education, supervision and professional development of pharmacy staff and students. Remuneration value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary between $128 169 - $137 918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4).
