About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on the Stapylton Sewerage Network Upgrade, a major project being delivered for the City of Gold Coast. This project will increase capacity across the Stapylton catchment to support future population growth while ensuring ongoing environmental compliance. The works involve the construction of approximately 15 kilometres of gravity and rising sewer mains, the construction of two new pump stations, and the renewal and decommissioning of existing sewerage assets along the corridor from Ormeau to Eagleby. Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will support the delivery of complex, linear sewer infrastructure works. This hands on, site-based role is suited to someone who enjoys being directly involved in practical delivery on the ground. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting day to day project delivery to program, budget and quality requirements Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants across multiple work fronts Assisting with construction planning, methodology and sequencing Procurement of materials and subcontract services Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting Contract administration, variations and progress claims Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements Building strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders What You’ll Bring to the Team A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering 3 - 5 years' experience in a Site or Project engineering role within water infrastructure/utilities.
