Join Perpetual Corporate Trust as a Senior Manager and provide a pivotal leadership position within Managed Funds Services (MFS). In this role you will be focused on delivering custody service excellence and providing strategic direction to both teams and clients. About the Role Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Custody team, fostering a culture of performance, talent development, retention, wellbeing, and inclusion. Support the Head of Custody and General Manager in delivering key projects and shaping the strategic direction of the Custody business. Recommend and implement improvements for a more effective, efficient, economical, and compliant operating environment. Act as Responsible Manager Perpetual subsidiaries through agreement. Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships, driving exceptional and compliant service that enhances client advocacy Monitor and respond to client feedback as a point of escalation, ensuring solutions align with Perpetual’s standards for effectiveness, efficiency, economy, compliance, and cyber security. Oversee the on-time delivery of business and fund-related activities and transactions, with a focus on non-custody and onboarding. Refine operations and controls to ensure a sustainable, compliant service and operating model for Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) and clients. Manage all regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and embedding necessary adjustments into operational processes. Support and, where required, drive new business initiatives by attending meetings, providing technical expertise, and overseeing the setup and transition of new trusts. Collaborate regularly with internal teams (Sales and Product, Governance Risk and Compliance, PCT and MFS Senior Leaders) and external stakeholders (clients, lawyers, industry bodies). About you We’re looking for someone with: Relevant tertiary education (e.g. business / accounting / economics / finance degree) Exhibit strong leadership, communication, performance management, and problem resolution skills Demonstrated expertise in managed funds and risk management At least 3 years’ experience in financial services or custody Minimum 3years’ team leadership experience Track record in developing and managing operational processes Strong client relationship and communication abilities Comprehensive understanding of risk management Exceptional stakeholder management and organisational skills Meticulous attention to detail and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
