This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, delivery-focused project professional looking to step up and gain greater exposure in a high-performing PMO environment. The Position As the Mid-Level Technical Project Manager, you will support the Senior IT Technical Project Manager in coordinating and delivering a range of IT projects. This role is hands-on, delivery-oriented and ideal for someone who enjoys preparing project artefacts, managing vendors, providing structure, and helping keep project activity on track. Key responsibilities include: Support delivery of IT system and infrastructure projects across the organisation Prepare and maintain project artefacts including schedules, RAID logs, status reports and delivery documentation Take ownership of delivery tasks to reduce pressure on SMEs and technical teams Identify risks early and present practical solutions to senior stakeholders Introduce structure, governance and documentation in a pragmatic way Manage vendors by setting expectations, tracking performance and escalating as required Assist with project budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Support communication flows and stakeholder updates to ensure effective project alignment Ensure compliance with project governance, audit requirements and internal frameworks The Candidate The successful applicant will have proven experience in IT project coordination or project management, and will possess the following skills: Strong organisational and delivery capability, with experience maintaining key artefacts Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders and "manage up" to senior leaders Experience coordinating vendors and monitoring deliverables Sound understanding of risk identification and issue management Ability to apply structure and governance in a practical, value-adding way Excellent communication, documentation and problem-solving skills Relevant project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) are desirable If you possess the above skills and experience, please apply now, or contact Terri Coombes on 03 9088 2279 for a confidential discussion.
