About the Role Our CFO Advisory service line is well established and uniquely positioned within the market. We provide a hands-on delivery that focuses on the uplifting and transformation of our clients’ financial management, accounting and finance governance practices. We work with Board’s, CEO’s, CFO’s and various organisations, providing advice and support for their business. Whilst no two days are the same, they may include the establishment of a new entity’s finance function; implementation or improvement of policies, processes and systems; assistance with financial, management or project reporting and ongoing financial governance requirements. CFO Advisory team members often work alongside our client’s, and this provides a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience gained from working within public practice. Current Opportunity Due to the continued success and growth of the CFO Advisory team , we are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team. Your responsibilities may include: Assisting the CFO Advisory team with finance function advisory services Supporting the design and delivery of financial management transformation projects including process improvement, finance/ERP system selection and improvement, finance team structure reviews and financial governance Preparation and/or development of financial, management and project reporting Audit readiness support (including general purpose financial statements and the new mandatory Sustainability Report requirements Establishment of a new entity’s finance and corporate functions From time to time, acting in an insourced role as part of a client’s team About You Demonstrable experience in audit, business services or a related field in public practice CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion Have an inquisitive mind and a desire to work collaboratively within the team and across other teams within the firm Want to make a difference and add value for our clients Knowledge of the finance function including systems and processes Why BDO?
