Flexible start date for early in 2026 About the Role As a Management Accountant within our Pharmacy division, you will play a key role in managing financial processes that support our 70 pharmacies across the country. Based at our Mt Waverley office, this full-time position exists to cover a period of leave for an expected 12 to 16 month period. It offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, evolving organisation where continuous improvement is encouraged. In this role, you will apply critical thinking, collaborate with a dynamic team, and drive efficiency in financial operations—all while remaining hands-on in your work. You will be part of a supportive team that values progress and is committed to delivering the best possible patient care. Key Responsibilities Processing end of month, including preparation of general journals, revenue journals, cost accruals, wages journals and accruals, recharges and monthly credit card expenses Conduct a monthly P&L review against budget with commentary and KPI analysis Preparing weekly receipt reporting, fortnightly debtor reporting and other ad hoc reporting as required Contributing to the oversight and maintenance of reporting systems Assisting with budget preparation Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including CEO, stat managers, pharmacy managers, auditors and suppliers Supporting year end audit processes Recommending improvements of processes with a focus on optimal efficiency and accuracy About You You are an experienced accounting professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. You thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment and enjoy working as part of a high-performing team. Key Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting or relevant tertiary qualification. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified accountant. Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Regulations, and working knowledge of business law principles.
