The successful candidate will call on and build relationships with automotive dealers, leasing companies, attend auctions/motor vehicle tenders and monitor online websites such as carsales.com.au, social media sites and other relevant publications. Responsibilities: Valuing vehicles offered for trade in Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres Ensure online valuation leads are actioned Support retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets Ensure suitable stock mix is available Maintain strong relationships with the team Provide supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes Requirements for the role will involve the following: Previous experience working in a purchasing team Good knowledge of purchasing, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown Negotiation skills Valid drivers license Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships Benefits: Embrace development and mentoring from your team, fostering personal and professional growth!
