Functions will include: Pitch, research, and produce original, high-quality sports / news stories for broadcast. Work under tight deadlines to deliver clear, accurate, and engaging TV news content. Report live with confidence on breaking stories Proactively source stories, ensuring comprehensive and dynamic coverage. Cover other newsroom roles as required. What are we looking for in our Newsroom? Whats important? Strong news judgment and an understanding of the TV news landscape. In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international sport Exceptional communication skillsboth on-air and behind the scenes. Highly motivated to cultivate contacts, you're not afraid to pick up the phone. Ability to work under pressure An understanding of editing and open to editing stories Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends, to meet newsroom demands.
