Demonstrated analytical and practical media skills, with the proven ability to contribute to the development of media and communications strategies across a range of media, including online. Well-developed oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to meet frequent, tight deadlines in the production of accurate and high-quality media releases, speeches, internal publications and online content. Demonstrated understanding of the concepts, principles and techniques required for the successful coordination of a promotional program. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and collaborate effectively within a cohesive, multi-disciplinary team to meet organisational demands, as well as the ability to work independently if required. The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required. The ability to travel intrastate by air is required. Work outside normal hours is required. Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in the communications field (e.g. journalism, public relations, marketing) or demonstrated experience in a media environment will be highly regarded.
