The Company Our client is a recognised Australian FMCG in the consumer goods & retail/wholesale space. Due to a busy time of year, they are looking for a Sales & Customer Service Officer to join the team on a 3-6 month contract. The company is a known employer of choice, offering flexibility & career progression to its staff, so there could be long term opportunities. Convenient Homebush location with parking or close to public transport. The Role You will be working closely with the Sales & Marketing teams in a varied & busy role. Main responsibilities include: Providing administrative support to the sales & marketing team, including processing orders, and maintaining client records Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service Outbound follow up calls to prospective clients Contact potential clients through social media Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of information and the timely completion of tasks Maintaining accurate and up to date records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system - Salesforce Providing support for special projects and initiatives as required Preferred Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, sales. You will have: Experience in a sales or customer service role Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively We are looking for someone that has the ability to start ASAP.
