About You To succeed in this role you will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural (or similar). More than 3 years of hands-on experience in façade engineering or structural façade design. Experience with structural façade systems. A solid understanding of building envelope performance including thermal, weatherproofing, moisture ingress, and durability. Ability to perform structural/finite-element analyses or at least strong familiarity with structural design of façade systems. Familiarity with Australian Standards. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, good communication and coordination skills. About the Role In this role you will be responsible for: Deliver façade and structural designs from concept to detailed documentation, including framing, glazing, cladding and support systems. Undertake thermal and weather-performance assessments to ensure compliance and durability. Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and reports. Liaise with architects, engineers and contractors to maintain design intent and buildability. Conduct site inspections and review façade installations and performance. Review shop drawings, RFIs and contractor submissions for compliance. Support tender documentation and contribute to technical proposals.
