We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team. Project Engineers at FSC work on infrastructure projects for various clients in the road, rail, tunnelling, utilities and associated sectors. As a Project Engineer you will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from project conception to completion. You will work with our clients and other FSC team members to plan, deliver and hand over projects throughout South Australia. Responsibilities In general, your responsibilities would include the following: Prepare and implement Construction Method Statements, including staging and construction methodology. Monitoring key construction safety and quality requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications Manage a team of Junior Engineers Procure and manage subcontracts including monthly claim process in accordance with delegated authority Managing temporary works designs and ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained and prepare temporary works design briefs Oversee procurement of materials and testing Lead project coordination efforts, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling. Manage project costs, end of month reports, and provide cost forecasts for the managed works Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders Requirements You will be a motivated and proactive engineer with the right combination of energy and a commitment to learning.
