Our academics drive innovation across medication management, patient care, and health policy. Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from medication management to co-design, as well as from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas. We are seeking to employ Associate Lecturers in Pharmacy (Education Focused) to join our team during an exciting transition period. You will play a key role in teaching and supporting students as we transition to our new Pharmacy degrees while continuing to deliver excellence in pharmacy education. The successful candidate will join a strong team of pharmacy academics and work with academics and researchers from across the Faculty of Medicine and Health, within the health sector and also across the University of Sydney multidisciplinary initiatives. This is your chance to make a meaningful contribution to teaching and learning, develop your education portfolio under the guidance of senior academics, and collaborate with experts across the Faculty of Medicine and Health. Your key responsibilities will be to: Deliver engaging undergraduate teaching in pharmacy and related disciplines Coordinate units, design assessments, and foster student success Collaborate with senior academics to develop your teaching expertise Contribute to outreach activities such as school engagement and orientation programs Participate in governance and collegial activities within the University maintain an understanding of the University’s strategic agenda and actively contributes to furthering that agenda. About you Hold (or are close to completing) a PhD in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences Have a developing knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practice and curriculum design Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in pharmacy-related disciplines Bring experience in teaching and learning, including team teaching and diverse classroom settings.
