Description The role is responsible for acting as the first line for employee enquiries and support. The purpose of the role is to support the business with the coordination and administration of key HR processes across the employee life-cycle in a consistent, efficient and agile manner. Additionally, this role will be involved in independent project work that supports the integration of new and existing sites/business units (BUs) into working the DP World way. Key Accountabilities First point of contact for employee HR enquiries as it relates to the employee life-cycle Provide advice, guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policy & procedures Coordinate HR initiatives/projects including engagement activities, events etc. Assist in managing the Reward & Recognition program Coordinate the Onboarding and Offboarding of employees as per established processes Co-ordinate MSIC application and renewal processes Actively monitor and review absences and availability and identify issues requiring management action for Terminals. Co-ordinate disciplinary meetings including producing reports, letters, booking meetings and maintaining appropriate records Provide support to managers with performance management and disciplinary processes for Terminals. Provide support with Recruitment operations (Job posting, screening, Interview scheduling, references etc) Actively participate in planning for service-related initiatives, attend team meetings, training and other relevant meetings Qualifications, Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification/s in HR or other relevant discipline 2 years’ experience in HR generalist role/s or other relevant experience Previous experience in HR Operations or Shared Services environment with proficiency in Recruitment Strong internal customer service background experience Computer literacy and sound Microsoft suite Strong customer service focus, and an ability to build and maintain quality relationships Knowledge of HR policies, systems, and processes Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve the client, team and service goals.
