The Role As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of the fortnightly payroll, while providing administrative support across remuneration and benefits. You will work closely with colleagues across MDHS, cultivating strong relationships and promoting excellence in customer service. Key responsibilities Prepare and process fortnightly payroll with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and update employee records with exceptional attention to detail. Manage compliance requirements including National Police Certificates, Working With Children Checks, and NDIS checks. Provide training to leaders in payroll and HR systems (including Dimensions). Conduct reporting, auditing, and ensure data integrity across People & Culture systems. Support internal and external audit processes. Promote MDHS’s People, Culture & Wellbeing Directorate as a centre of excellence in customer service. Contribute positively to team culture and uphold MDHS policies and procedures.
