The Exports and Veterinary Services Division (EVSD) regulate the export of animal products and import of food products through the delivery of inspection and certification services including those related to live animal operations for both import and export. The Veterinary and Export Meat Branch (VEMB) undertake regulatory functions by providing inspection and certification for the export of meat, meat products and the import and export of live animals and reproductive material in order to meet importing country requirements and Australian legislative requirements. As the Administration Officer, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Administrative Functions: ability to complete a range of administrative functions that may include travel administration, procurement, assisting and managing spreadsheets, financial management and other program-related tasks. Financial Management: provide expense and billing support for the branch, ensuring accuracy and using departmental systems to process payments, invoices and acquit expenses. Attention to Detail and Problem Solving: demonstrates sound judgement and analytical skills to identify issues, recommend solutions, and maintain high standards of accuracy. Stakeholder Management and Engagement: Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to build strong rapport, foster positive team dynamics, and deliver strong client service through proactive stakeholder engagement. Mailbox Management: Effectively respond to general enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate information and timely support to ensure resolution of requests.
