Job Description: Shiraz Persian Restaurant Bar is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our professional kitchen team. We specialise in authentic Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine and require a skilled cook who can maintain consistent quality and support daily kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present meals according to restaurant standards. Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes. Operate commercial kitchen equipment and monitor cooking temperatures. Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations. Assist with menu preparation, ingredients prep, and daily food service. Manage stock rotation, monitor inventory, and report shortages. Keep kitchen and workstations clean and well-organised at all times. Support smooth kitchen service during peak hours. Minimise food wastage and follow proper storage procedures. Collaborate effectively with chefs and junior kitchen staff. Requirements: At least 3 years of proven experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen. Strong understanding of food safety (FSS) and hygiene standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistency, and manage multiple tasks. Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment. Experience in Middle Eastern or similar cuisine is an advantage but not mandatory.
