Eligibility/Other Requirements: Extensive knowledge of legal, regulatory and policy frameworks relevant to VAD, or the ability to acquire such knowledge. The position is open to applicants seeking to apply as a Senior Officer Grade B, Registered Nurse level 4, Health Professional Level 5 or Registrar 1-4. For appointment as a Registered Health Professional, relevant qualifications and registration with the appropriate regulatory body. For applicants who are not a registered health professional, a strong background in health service provision or previous AHPRA registration is required. An option is available for this role to include up to 0.2FTE activities as an authorised voluntary assisted dying practitioner for eligible position holders. Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
