About Us YMCA NSW is a leading not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to helping people live healthy, active lives. The Role As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll teach swimming skills to children and adults, following the Swim and Survive program and other relevant syllabi. You'll play a vital role in building water confidence and safety skills while creating a fun and engaging learning environment. What You'll Do Deliver safe, professional swimming lessons that progress student ability Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities Provide feedback to students and parents on progress Maintain a clean and safe pool environment Follow YMCA NSW policies, including child protection and risk management What We're Looking For Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) Swimming Instructor Statement of Attainment (SISSS00132) & Licence Valid Working with Children Check (if over 18) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Additional swim teaching certifications for bonus points Why Join Us?
