Working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the roads Division and beyond, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering operational excellence, achieving service and tonnage targets, and maintaining Newhaul’s strong commitment to safety and compliance . Recruit, lead, and develop Superintendents and Supervisors across multiple sites Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement Ensure safety, compliance, and cost-effective movement from pit to port Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across labour, fuel, fleet, and loaders, while supporting digitisation and automation aligned with business goals. About You An inspiring hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of road trains and be a seasoned transport and logistics professional understanding long-haul road transportation in bulk commodities Communicates with clarity and confidence and likes to “get in and amongst it”, who lives and breathes “all things transport” Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management Commercially savvy, results-driven, and passionate about innovation, digitisation, and automation If you’re ready to make a strategic impact and lead with purpose, apply now – we look forward to hearing your story!
