SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR Department: Supply Chain (Macquarie Park, Sydney) The Role We are seeking a highly talented, organised, and professional Supply Chain & Logistics Co-ordinator to support the Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams. This role will be involved in executing supply plans across international factories and will require strong communication with global supply teams as well as local sales teams. Position Requirements Education / Experience: A recent degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is advantageous. 3 years’ experience in a supply chain administrative role within a consumer goods business is highly regarded. Experience dealing with freight forwarders, importing goods, and supplying major retailers is advantageous. Previous experience in consumer goods—preferably toys—would be highly regarded. Skills / Knowledge: Shipping Co-ordinating all inbound/imported shipments into Australia and liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers. Experience with shipping documentation and global import processes. Stock receiving and costing. Reviewing and processing shipping and supplier invoices. Supply / Stock Management Experience in S&OP and working with Operations and Demand Planning teams to analyse and recommend plans. Processing purchase orders and transfers, and tracking/scheduling shipments. Forecasting and supply planning reporting. Co-ordinating with third-party logistics providers on delivery timing. Checking inventory reconciliation reports and resolving discrepancies. Inventory master file maintenance. Escalation of short supply issues and managing claims relating to inbound stock. Local Freight Administrative support for outbound freight, ensuring cost-effective and timely deliveries. Assisting the 3PL to ensure daily local freight collections and escalating issues as needed. Invoice verification and weekly cross-checks before processing freight charges. Data Analysis & Reporting Distributing daily stock reports and inbound inventory updates, including any issues or delays.
